We highly recommend servicing the products via ASCON Equipment B.V. as we specialize in the way that our products perform.
If something is not working properly, do not hesitate to contact us for information. Also, if a replacement is needed for a part, we can ship this out to you as soon as possible.
We discourage using third parties to make replacements for the parts of the products supplied by ASCON Equipment B.V. The reason for this is because we have seen wrongfully made parts and tremendous damages to the Anchor Winches and Capstans which lead to more costs.
Furthermore, it is recommended to have a full service of our Anchor Winches and Capstans every 3 to 5 years.
This ASCON Capstan has been on a yacht for 15 years already and still looks and works as new.
Collaborating with the client
If you and your crew are on a yacht that is old (or new) and the mooring equipment does not work properly anymore and you just want a new design, that is possible!
ASCON Equipment B.V. will design with your input about the looks and userfriendly aspects of the winches. Your thoughts and ideas will be put into the design. Ofcourse there are some dimensions and safety measures that we need to adher to.
